The program is taught by actress & casting director Tré Armstrong who has been featured in many TV and film productions including The Next Step, How She Move (Sundance Film Festival), lead judge from So You Think You Can Dance Canada and more.
INTRODUCTION TO ACTING
Perfect for anyone who is ready to jump into the world of acting.

We will work off camera in a group and individual settings as well as on camera for individual work, both with scripts and improvised scenes.
Using age-appropriate scenes each performer will get the chance to be on camera, reinforcing work that is taught in each session.  We explore the camera lens, scripts.

ON CAMERA ACTING & AUDITIONS

Let’s get you auditioning and booking those shows and films!.
Class sizes are small so that more time is spent with each performer on camera.  We will work with both age-appropriate scripts and improvised scenes so that class participants get to experiment with their natural talent, emotional capacity.  We immediately apply techniques they have discovered and improved on in class sessions.

All performers in the course receive an emailed recording of their on camera auditions.   We explore the camera lens, scripts, audition techniques & more.

SCENE STUDY

What makes a good actor different from a great actor?  CHOICES… Practice…. and great TECHNIQUE!
In this course we explore the details of scripts and all the information they contain to help build the character on screen.
Participants learn how to effectively breakdown a script and get into character using the D.A.N.C.E. Method ©️ as well as information contained in the script.
We explore the camera lens, details of scripts, character building.
