Wendy Nash began her dancing career at age 3, first attending the Lynn Morisson School of Ballet in Brampton where she excelled. She competed internationally for 8 years before she was accepted into Canada’s National Ballet School at age 11. She attended L’Ecole Superieure de Danse du Quebec in Montreal for academic and dance studies, as well as The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater ultimately becoming a professional dancer, performing in the U.S, Europe and across Canada.
In 1996, Wendy won the international title of “Salsa Queen Champion” and was then invited to become a guest teacher and performer in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. In 1999 Wendy was the lead dancer in “Tropicana”, a very successful Cuban Caberet show.
Hired in 2001 by Disney’s The Lion King, to be a swing in the show, she learned to perform all roles in the production. Wendy soon took over the lead dancer track in the show and performed 8 shows a week for the following three years before the show closed.
Currently, Wendy is a Registered Massage Therapist treating dancers and athletes. She is committed and determined to help artists stay in top form. She resides in Brampton with her family and is now a full time mom of two amazing children.
